Review: Stargazer

I made a little group order at Stargazer.
The goths between you may already know this awesome brand, but for those who don´t, I will give a little review.

Stargazer products are often available in goth and scene shops, mostly nail polish and powder.
Since the most shops in my town only carry the absolute basics and are overpriced, I tried a direct order.
I bought 11 items and paid 8.73 GBP for signed and tracked shipping (~10€), the package needed around one week to arrive (from GB to Germany).

Everything was so extrem carefully packed, that it took me several minutes and a sharp knive to get all items out of the wrapping^^ No chance that there got anything damaged.

The pressed powder.
One of the whites ones is mine. I used it in my goth times to get that typical white face *g* and now I use it as a finisher, to make my normal powder/make up a bit lighter.

It comes in a elegant black tin with a mirror and sponge.
I prefer to use it with a brush, so it is a bit more discreet. Perfect for carrying around and one tin lasts from my experience around one year if you don´t use too much.

The other essential item if you want a ghost-white face. This foundation avoids spotted white (which almost always happens if you only use the powder). I don´t want to spend money on expensive make up in light colors (normal make up is always way too dark for my skin), so I mix this one with my cheap make up. The best point about this is, you can match the make up with you face parts and highlight it a bit.
With the stick you can get as much as you need out of the bottle. Lasts long, I bought my last bottle about 5 years ago and still have some cream left.

Chrome nail polish. The silver one is just awesome, you can almost mirror yourself in it!
My most favorite nail polish. Without a cover polish it doesn´t last long in daily use, but it is still super pretty.

This is how it looks. The "red" one was shown as a red one on the site (no.234), but it is more purple than red in real. It is still a pretty color, but not red. This is a common problem with Stargazer nail polish, the colors shown on the cart are in most cases different from the actual polish. So if you have the chance, look at the polishs before you buy/order. If not, be prepared to get something slightly off color.

These are eyeshadows. The left one is loose powder, the right one is pressed powder.
I´m looking for white eyeshadow for a few months now, and I just couldn´t find one that is white on skin without a base. Most shadows weren´t even real white WITH base, but only a bit... light.
Stargazer items are in general highly pigmented. You don´t need to use much of the powders to make the colors visible and with base they are totally vibrant (like shown at the models on their page).
This white is a bit white on skin without base, with base it´s a wonderful white.
The loose eyeshadow is sparkling a lot and extremly covering.

This is just a tiny bit of the powder and without base.

Rating:

Price: 5/5
You get really great items with unusual colors for a similar price like the normal cosmetics in your drugstore
Shipping: 5/5
Fast, not too expensive
Customer service: 5/5
All mails were answered quickly and helpful.
Products: 4/5
Minus 1 point for the differig colors. Without that the products themself are great!

Overall: 4,5/5

I even got a little gift for my order^^

It has a star behind the writing, but I couldn´t picture that.
If you are looking for specific colors and styles, sparkling or UV active, look at Stargazers. I use their products for years and am very happy with them.
And if you are looking for extreme covering, non-shiny eyeshadow, I can highly recommand their velvet eyeshadow line.
For more questions about them, you can leave me a comment and I try my best to answer it^^
