Things like this take time, eventually everything will sort of even out for you. It might take longer than you want it to, but it will get better. That's awesome that you're there for your dad though, I'm sure he appreciates it more than you know. And congrats on the weight loss!!

i'm so sorry to hear all that's going on. i know our situations are different, but i've been through very similar feelings after derek's suicide. let me know if you ever need/want to talk.

also, adrian and i think of you often, and hope you are well. we'd love you to stop in for dinner or movies, or whatever sometime :)

hopefully for a few years :) we spoke to INS and since we're married, unless he commits a crime, they can't really go kicking him out. we're still thinking of going to canada to reset his time. we're not sure yet about that.

we need about $800 to file all his residency/work visa papers. then he can work in the states, live in the states, and even join the military (that's what he wants to do). so i'm applying everywhere short of mc donalds to help pay for it.

and stop by anytime. let us know, and we'll do tuna casserole or something :)

Sometimes we have these kinds of periods and need time to ourselves....I know I have been hiding a bit too. My anxiety and depression were getting the best of me so I decided to take a step back and do some things to try and get better.

You are a wonderful daughter for being there for your dad. Like someone else said, I am sure he appreciates it more than you know.

Congrats on your weightloss! I wish I could get myself back on track. I am trying to get there.....I will get there eventually.

If you ever need to talk or need a weekend away....I am always just a few hundred miles north. =)
