This really hit home for me, I've always been that person who was friendly with everyone but not really part of a group. It really does suck when you hear about your friends going out but never inviting you, so I feel the pain.
But you shouldn't think "what if I screw up again?", you got to be 110% optimistic :D! College is a great way to start new, and you don't have to belong to a group of friends. You can just be friends with different groups, that's what I basically do. In the end, you'll have a group of friends, you'll have people to hang out with. And you don't have to be the person left you, you could just ask your friends "Do you want to go to the movies/shopping/etc?"
So, yeah...you have to go into college feeling good, knowing you'll make friends. If you think you won't, then you might not. Go in with a smile and just be yourself, that's the best way to make friends :D
Thanks ^^ You're probably right and I'll really try it. I just go there, trying to be open for everything. Maybe it's not a good thing that I'm not moving to the city where I'm about to attend college, but I'll see what it all will bring me.
But what's that thing between the austrian people and german people? Why don't austrian people like german people? And btw. I dislike those brand-clothes-fixed-having-rich-arrogant-parents kids too.
