We just did one day of a DOCNA trial on Saturday. Mainly to work on startlines and contacts. We had a lot of fun at the trial. It was very relaxed. Rift ran clean in five out of five runs and I was very happy with his performance. On the very last run of the day he was in a stand when I released him from the startline but he had not moved. This goes on on all our walks lately and the dogs have a lot of fun. Nothing like wind sprints for keeping in shape :-)

The good part of the weekend was that I managed to get two Open standard legs and one Open JWW legs with Rift his first time in Open. I should of had three legs in each (OK Just kidding):-) but we had a couple of minor glitches :-( Rift knocked a bar in two of his runs which is very unusual. I was feeling concern about going to USDAA Nationals this year. I do have the time off and I am pretty sure I will get qualified but I don't like the idea of flying and driving that far by myself just does not appeal to me.
