*snortle* actually, I've just been thinking about how nice it would be to go to the con and fluff about the place hanging out with everyone and let someone else do the con photography ;-)
It is (as I'm sure you well know now!) a bit of a stress to make sure you're there for EVERY panel and then worrying that the photos aren't good enough - let alone processing and uploading them all for Darren! (how's that going there DJF? :p ).

Actually, I'm waiting for Darren to give me FTP access so I can give him my pictures. I missed a couple of panels, but Lisa was there for those. I believe between the two of us, we got everyone. I think that works out pretty good, having more than one person taking pictures. So, maybe next year we have three 'Official' Photographers.

GAWD!!! *pulls hair out* Damn practicum!!! I don't wanna miss Kiwi!!! *pouts* why did Creation have to go and push back the con so it doesn't coincide with my spring break anymore?? My god I actually fantasized (however briefly) in class today of making it so I don't start my practicum until summer...how bad is that?? Yep Con Addiction. It's tragic....;-)

Actually, this shift in dates has made it more likely I will actually be able to go! I plan to go to a work conference in Italy in late May, which means spending the weeks between the con and the meeting visiting friends and travelling Europe (which i've never been too!). If the Van con was any earlier that gap would be just too big, I'm definitely pusing it as is, which is why I'm not 100% about being able to go. But at least I have a ticket! *veg*

My practicum is when I start counseling community members at the counseling center on campus. They are supervised counseling sessions that are videotaped and at the end of every week you go over your sessions with your advisor. These little meetings happen every Friday, you miss one, bad JUJU! LOL! Practicum goes for two semesters. So at this point I would be completely unable to attend due to my being enrolled in practicum at that point. :-(

yikes! yeah, you really wouldn't want to miss that... But the con certainly wouldn't be the same without you! next to your energy I always feel like a complete sloth! LOL!

Oy...decisions, decisions...now I am very torn about whether or not to buy that ticket for next year...:S I wasn't planning on going but if you and Jen and DJF are there....oooooohhhhhhh....the agony....LOL

In all seriousness it would of course be AWESOME if you were there too, but at this stage I'm not 100% sure I'll be there, and I'm still broke from LAST year, so I completely understand if you don't! *sob*
