Annoyingly, after I bought the plates I found out I could have had them done with 'KANSAS' above them for $100 more. As they cost $799 in themselves (shhhh...hubby thinks they were $500), I think I've spent enough. As NZ doesn't have that many SPN fans, it's a bit of a thrill when people recognise the plates...two so far in over six months. I told my father it was an anniversary plate, as in we are Carolyn and Casper hence 'KAZ' and we were married in 2005...I still haven't told him the underlying reason for taking a trip to the states, so I really can't tell him about the plates. Wow, that rhymed. I sense a limerick coming on...watch this space :)
yeah, a kiwi friend of ours just stayed at our place this weekend and he said he and his missus know Supernatural but they don't know any fans, just a few people who watch the show. anyway, it's awesome that you have these plates!
It'll be most awesome when I get a real Impala* to put the plates on :) I bought the plates not realising I had to put them on a car to possess them, so my current ride gets to sport them until the happy day I get my Metallicar.
*I mean a 1967 Chevrolet Impala, obviously. Because an actual Impala would look a bit silly with plates on.
When I first got the plates, smallcaps and I would drive around and say to all the other cars things like...'You may be a BMW, but can you match up to the power of the RAVPALA!!!!!' or 'Oooh, you're a great big 4WD, but you are nowhere near as awesome as the RAVPALA!!!!!'
