Finally I am able to write why voting matters.
Tonight Obama won the popular vote to become the 44th president. Right now I really love America. I can't wait to someday explain to my kids how exciting it truly was to be a part of this election. I hope that by the time I have children or grandchildren the issue of race or sex or religious values are no longer landmark things. Perhaps by then we ( Read more... ) -

Things I would rather be doing over homework right now:
Eating dirt.
Scrubbing crusty pots and pans.
Dusting lint off fan blades.
Cleaning litter boxes.
Sleeping. -

Today the bad things seem to be outweighing the good things. I feel like I'm too naive and the world is going to swallow me whole. Someone tell me why I'm here. What I'm doing. Why it matters.
