(no subject)

Trip planning has been put on hold for a day or two while I sort out some things that are happening this month!

Built by a NZ man and his artist wife over 33 years, it was moved in 2016 for the 950th anniversary of the Battle of Hastings and will probably tour overseas for the foreseeable future. I only found out about it when researching attractions in the town of Geraldine, near Christchurch, where the creators live.

Hi Sue

It was good to hear from you. I am not surprised that you find our opening dates unclear as we are finding it like that too. Hopefully we will be able to make it clearer on the www.medievalmosaic.com website today.

We opened the latest exhibition at Oxford County Hall in New Rd, Oxford on Saturday 9th September and were open for the Saturday and Sunday of the Oxford Open Doors which is part of the Heritage Open Days. It was very successful with nearly 2000 people coming in the two days. It is still set up but from now until 8 December we can only be open to the public on Fridays with some exceptions. We can also be open for group talks by prior arrangement on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 5pm - 7pm.

Currently the dates we are open to the public are
Friday 29 Sept, 6 Oct, 13 Oct, 20 Oct, 3 Nov, 24 Nov, 1 Dec when Mike and I will be in attendance.

Friday 22 Sep, 10 Nov, 17 Nov will be open but no one will be in attendance.

Very strange kind of exhibition but we have to go with the flow.

Our phone number is 07 391 618921 so I would recommend either checking the website or ringin in advance when you plan to come to check that nothing else has changed in the meantime.

Hope to see you sometime.

Kind Regards

Gillian
