My very good friends have two small children, that I sing to sometimes. When I do, I am expressing my love for them more strongly then I ever could just with words. It reminds me of how loved I've always felt when my parents sang for me.

But of course you don't have to be a child to appreciate such things. Sacred Harp singing sounds amazing.
