Hi Kiwi!!! My name is Therese Anne Meehleib. I was one of the staff at Rock the School Bells. I was at the door to check for tickets, but before that, I was also part of the staff that helped during the conference. I helped out with ushering, tabling and facilitating ( ... )

THANK YOU!!! thereseanne November 8 2007, 06:09:18 UTC
Hi Kiwi!!! it's me again Therese. I also would like to thank you for being there. For being present for something important that could change how hip-hop is viewed by the people.

Also, I want to let you know that I loved that one piece that you performed during the concert. Where you got all the ladies to join. I also loved the ending of it "you don't need a man to tell you how amazing you are". No matter how tired and sleepy I was, somehow during that performance I was pretty much alive. You had such a good and positive energy and the crowd just loved your performance. We are very thankful for that. During the second act, I would just want to say that the audience reacted to your performance really good and they loved it that we all just had to give you a standing ovation.

You are such a great performer and an inspiration to a lot of people, including me. We thank you again.

wassup kiwi! its your personal backstage photographer robert fernandez! haha.. a runner backstage where i informed u to go to the greenroom where u were cool about signing the poster remember? thanks by the way..but yea RTSB overall, had good performances with decent attendence.. i had a good time while learning new things on hiphop .. n that 'all i need is one mic' workshop made me nderstand better in what the artists are thinking and what they are rapping about, displaying their mood through their lyrics. and hiphop generally, made me also understand a little on the background, slang, styles of dance, and what it takes to be able to take part in the hiphop culture. but dude, u killed when u performed man! if only i was watching.. id b front row haha! but backstage was good (i guess).. and hope we hear from u next yr man.. lookin forward to it.. but for now bro.. peace! =)

Yo wassup Kiwi. My name is Marc Reyes. I was one of the security protecting the stage entrance backstage with Ahmed and I also helped the facilitators in Social/Political aspect to Hip Hop and Women in Hip Hop.
RTSB was chaos behind the scenes, but it turned out it wasn't as bad when it came to the end of the night. All in all it was fun meeting all the performers before they got on stage and watching them come back pumped up and energized after their performance, but also tiring. Also it has really changed my views on what I thought I knew about hip hop. Just by watching the workshop during the conference teaches you a lot. Also I am just honored to take part in RTSB. But yeah, Your performance was tiiiight! your performance was the only one I actually watched in the audience, because I was on break from guarding that door. Hope to hear from you soon man. Take care bro and THANK you for for your presence...Peace!
