nothing like mercury retrograde kicking in at the perfect time and place: midnight on the bay bridge. this instance involving a blown front tire on our trusty honda. cars zooming by and honking, frantic calls to 911 and the highway patrol, all this amidst the pretty downtown SF skyline and the frigid bay water below. thankfully, we were calm enough ( Read more... )

just got back from the phils and i can say that even now, bayan folks and ab folks are hella appreciative of your work and what you did when you were out there in the summer...

i know it's tough in the belly, but back in the root, they recognize our roles and our impact....

it was those steve kerrs that help win championships. The common man who finally got recognized. Mad respects to your talents you share with us (especially the hip hop workshop).

The first time i saw you was 2004 at a bindlestiff show. You were performing with bam and denizen kane. I had pretty much no love for hip hop til i heard your set. The call in response... and the truth comin out.. not like what i heard on mainstream music was enough for me to buy your album and go to more of your shows. Trust me-you have the respect. Sometimes its hard to realize that when you compare yourself to others but you do win the hearts and minds of many. Wait-wasn't just talking about Nomi (joking).
