I've hated platforms for YEARS. I wouldn't even look in the direction of a platform shoe when shopping. But for some reason beyond my belief, my distaste for them have been on the wane. A side of me still thinks they're tacky and oh-so-not-chic, but with the right dress/outfit, it could work.

the last one looks like its made of wood. you can seriously cause some bad injuries if you kick someone with those. it'll be your weapon of choice on the streets.

never been a fan of girls in platforms either, but those look nice. I think worse are the open toe wedge heels that makes girls look like they have a beast clubbed foot.
