What happened to all the excitement in my life? I rarely feel inspired anymore. I have to struggle to come with ideas? Where have all the art and influences gone in my life? Living at home has become sort of a drag, but I'm also too comfortable. My mom still cooks for me (but no way am I going to take it for granted!). I don't have to pay rent ( ( Read more... )

totally and completely feel you. i don't know when we became so numbingly indifferent but it's definitely clogging whatever veins the creative juices flow through. i have no idear where to go or what to do or what to make. i just walk in one direction and hope for the best. desperately seeking inspiration makes it even harder to find it.

i hope you find something that inspires you! i find that forced energy helps a little. so do some crack or drink a redbull and get out there...where? i dunno.

i'm with you on the whole living-at-home thing. it sucks... but then again... i'm way too comfortable here to move out. i guess once we both get a stable job (or career) that we truly enjoy and make some damn good money out of it, we'll not only be financially supportive on our own but be able to find another cozy place besides our home to reside.

and even though you don't live down the street from me anymore, you're still within minutes from where i live. natsuki and i are always at my house doing stuff (making art, watching dvds, snacking on good food, catching crickets in my room, listening to backstreet boys, doing tae kwon do, all that fun stuff) so feel free to come by and hang out whenever you're bored! she sews a lot too so maybe you fashion-minded two can learn new stuff from each other.
