No, I don't see anything wrong with how you feel. I mean, it is your decision in the end after all. I wonder why the guy all the sudden changed his mind about you and whatnot? I think I'd probably be a bit freaked out myself if someone whom I considered just a casual acquaintance or whatever all the sudden wanted to get serious. :s That's just weird...
