Kicked the habit?

Hi, my name is Colin, and I used to be a manga junkie. I've been clean now for 2 months. I'd spend anywhere from $100 to $200 a month on books. The last splurge I went on cost me over $300. This is why it doesn't pay to try to quit. You're going to come back, and it's going to be expensive to catch up on what you missed. What you need to do is give up buying the first books of new series if you really need to cut down. Or get a higher-paying job so you can afford to keep up with the habit, like I did.

Then again, my spending comes from anime and games as well as manga. You might well have more than me if you're spending that much just on manga every week.
