   Only about halfway through but It is already apparent that I can't judge this based on the original film as it bears little resemblance.  I will say I am enjoying  performances by actors such a Sam Worthington as Perseus and Liam Neeson as Zeus.  I think the main problem is the script.  Now I loved the Greek Myths as a child.  I read them

Both the original and the remake of Clash butcher the Greek myths. Perseus never rode Pegasus that was Bellerophon. Just enjoy the action, and Io's cute bod and ignore the mythology.

I guess I didn't notice it as much in the original. It's been ages since I watched it anyway. As for butchering the Greek Myths so did Xena: Warrior Princess but I enjoyed that series. No not because of Lucy Lawless but because it was so fun and campy. Oh and yes Io is very hot!
