1. Clare wonders often if the only reason she wants to graduate is the pictures of her mother wearing a black graduation robe and cap. (maybe one day her children will want to be like mama too)
2. She hates being tied down by the routine of her life (from job to job to night school to home and all over again).
3. She often wonders if she could ever quit both her jobs as a waitress and a receptionist, but when she imagines her bosses' reactions, she knows she probably never will.
4. Sometimes when she walks home, she pays attention to everybody who pushes past her, waiting for the one in a million chance of seeing her mother.
5. Her hopes are crushed every time (she's lost count how many times she hoped) and she runs the rest of the way home.
6. She asks herself why she still wants to know how her mother is doing (somewhere in the back of her mind, she is certain her mother is dead)
7. She has never really cared (or had time) for boyfriends, despite that many guys have asked her out.
8. She knows she can be very cold when people tell her about their problems. She doesn't necessarily care.
9. One of the very few things that gets on her nerves is seeing a perfectly capable person whining about something they can change (she never stops and thinks before telling them to get off their asses and do something about it).
10. While her usual outfit is jeans and whatever shirt she happened to grab, she likes wearing miniskirts occassionally, even if she'll deny it and says she hates them.
11. When she finds herself with some free time, there is nothing more she enjoys than curling up in her bed and reading a good book.
12. Her first pair of high heels was a gift from a coworker who was also a friend (Clare almost quit work that day out of pure embarassment).
13. She loves bracelets. In her opinion, they are the coolest accessories ever.
14. She'd probably have a lot more money if she gave up her addiction to Pepsi.
15. She is a little bit overprotective of the people she cares about.
16. She questions her role as an Angel often, even if she accepts it and will fight for her cause (can I really kill them all?)
17. She says her favorite color is yellow.
18. It's actually pink. She thinks her 'tomboy' image should stay that way.
19. She hates cold weather, but ironically enough, she loves snow.
20. She always stops and plays with the kids if she ever passes a playground (the kids always awe at how high she can swing on the swings)
