Does anyone know... has there ever been any movie adaptations of any of Heyer's novels? I can't seem to find any, and I don't know why! I mean, there is a veritable market, including me, who would love to see any adaptation!!

According to the International Movie Database, there are two, both made in the 1950s. One is an East German production, "Bezaubernde Arabella," made in 1959, a version of "Arabella," with nobody I've heard of.
The other is a 1950 version of "The Inheritance," again with no one I've heard of (though the director, Bernard Knowles, got his start as a cinematographer on, among many other films, Hitchcock's "The 39 Steps").
I'm working on an ofic, a murder mystery that takes place on a movie set, and I was going to have them filming an obscure Edith Wharton piece, but I think I might just change it to a Georgette Heyer novel, just for the fun of it! Because you're right, there should be a market for her work.

When I lived in Chicago in the early '90s, the local Lifeline Theatre company did stage adaptations of "The Talisman Ring" and "Cotillion" that were absolutely fantastic -- and successful. I think in both cases they had extended runs.

Ooohh, 'Cotillion' would be a wonderful play, and would 'Talisman!' *is jealous*
