I am really struggling with anxiety at the moment and not coping very well. Not sure what to do about it as my options are limited.

Why are your options limited?

I was feeling quite despairing when I posted that so everything was more doom and gloom than it should've been!

But really, my options are:

Increasing my dose of citalopram, which I'm extremely scared to do because of side effects.
Change drugs - same fear as above.
Get on the waiting list for NHS therapy, which is looooong.
See the university counselling service, which doesn't really help as I need therapy, CBT in particular, not counselling.
Pay privately for CBT, which ranges from £40 upwards per hour, which is sadly unaffordable for me.

I'm sure there are other things I could do, but these are the things I can think of right now. I am trying to eat healthier and take my vitamins to make sure my body is strong, which will hopefully help my brain, and I do need to exercise more for all those good chemicals.

Sorry for the rambling reply. I just hate anxiety!

:( I sympathise. Anxiety is horrible.
Sounds you are doing what you can.

I don't know much about it - but is anything like the Mood Gym stuff (
https://moodgym.anu.edu.au/welcome) any good to you?

Take care of yourself .

Sorry for replying so late. Thank you for the link, I will have a look at that and see if it will help. I'm willing to try anything! I'm skipping compulsory classes due to anxiety - not good.
