If we create for the sake of the beauty of Art, and allow ourselves to truly be instruments of the ideas God has given us, than nothing we create can ever be mediocre.
Art for art's sake..musicology_girlSeptember 25 2006, 16:35:11 UTC
Thank you for pointing out a truth about God's creativity that I should daily realize and recognize.
I ache for the artist who can't find the right way to express a new idea through music and art, but the ache I feel for someone who is hurting and therefore produces art beyond personal and sometimes human understanding reaches the same part of my being that desires to create and be one with God's beauty and love.
I am also reminded of the book "Torture the Artist," where one man's world is manipulated so that he always has an inspiration of pain or loss with which to work. And ofcourse I mourn over all the Mozarts who were just beginning to realize a new level of art and beauty not accepted by society.
Again, thanks for making me think a little deeper today, Kyle!
yeah- remember when we'd talk every afternoon, and then read each other's journals every night? I haven't written in mine in a while.. i don't really need to or something anymore

Imagine us all as his own Art...His passion
