less than a week and i get to get away from here. i'm not going home though. not till winter break. to think that i haven't seen anybody or been anywhere outside of burlington,vt (smaller than birmingham) for over 2 months. its just crazy. im visiting my aunt in ny and ill be there for my birthday. im gonna leave my cell phone on, so please feel

i am so wanting to go home from here... how on earth are you standing it? i think i would go crazy. and then it's cold... ugh. i shall try to call you for your b-day, but no promises. letters are faaar and away more likely. what's you address?

ive been doing pretty well, except i get lonely occasionally. luckily all of my close friends live right next to me and i can stay in touch with aim. and its surprisingly warm this week, with a high of 50, although it usually doesn't get that high. im hoping to see snow again begore going home, otherwise i won't see it for awhile
