that is where Kate went to college! she told me that most of the students were huge hippies who wanted to be horticulturists or park rangers.

glad things are picking up for you at the new job!

I love the Adirondacks. I haven't talked to you in forever, how are you? How's the new job? Are you going to be able to make it to my Birthday party?

I go to Saranac lake EVERY year. We stay in cabins right on lower saranac lake. Its a gorgeous lake. There are only a few buildings on the one end closest to town and then there is like miles of lake after that with NOTHING but wilderness. It has lots of islands on the lake and its so quiet. You can camp on those islands and rent a boat from the marina that we stay at. That would be a fun trip to do sometime. My only problem with that camping is its CAMPING CAMPING.. no electricity or running water. They do have portable toilets, but I couldnt do that for more than 2 days. I would need a shower eventually ( ... )

hi! good to hear from you! we went to an italian restaurant called jimmy's-which was not that good at all. very overpriced and the waiter added on an 18% tip for a table of four without even asking us. the food was decent but the location was perfect-right on the lake. we stayed in the best western mountain view inn which was pretty new and really nice. one of the verizon managers we were with gave us the option of going to eat at the paul smith's restaurant-we should have went there, but then i guess we wouldn't have went to see lake placid in the other direction. i know most of you guys have been to that area, but it was my first time and i thought it was just beautiful. hope everything's good with you btw.
