I'm afraid I could be of little help about navigating around NYC. I live 45 miles north in White Plains and all my trips into the city have been by train from the Westminster station or I was driven in (limo), so I have no sense of direction of where anything is direction-wise. Sorry I can't be of help, but I was a pretty sheltered kid and now I have little reason to go into the City, and when I do I just ask our driver to take me from Point A to Point B and I don't have to pay any attention to how we get there. Like when I go in to see a play or something. :o)
