I have so much to do before I go on vacation that a colleague actually said to me today, "If you're sleeping in the office tonight, I can give you some tips."

I managed to not actually do that when I was a grad student, but I came close a couple times.. I did have a friend who did it several times. He slept under the tables in the library.

I made a rule for myself back in college that I would not do any work between the hours of midnight and 8:00am. That minimizes any risk of overnighting in libraries or offices.
