Episode 80 [Maou's condition] full summary
First of all thank you for the incredibly awesome feedback for the screencaps.
Now, before going to bed, here we are with the full summary of episode 80
Shinou temple
Ulrike comments that Yuuri's coming of age ceremony has started.
Shinou appears behind her.
Title.
The Sandbear is ready to attack Yuuri, the others cheers for him (everyone has a lovely smile on their faces, they are adorable!)
Sandbear jumps toward Yuuri, nothing really happens because the bear doesn't want to attack but only to hide under the sand^^;
Conrad shouts at Yuuri to aim at the face of the bear when it comes out, just like the wack-a-mole game.
It takes one moment for Yuuri to do that^^;
We see Ryan again after so long! It was his sandbear after all.
But there is something else to do during the ceremony.
Yuuri needs to write something on a giant paper...now forgive me but it was so ugly that I couldn't understand what he wrote.
After this, here we gooooo baseball match!
Conrad is the pitcher, Yuuri is the batter and Jozak is the catcher.XD
First ball.

Ok right, the ball, wah! Yuuri answered this time! Conrad looks so shocked!
He wins and we see Greta coming with flowers in her hand. She congratulates and then Conrad comes too congratulating.
Yuuri asks him if he played for real and Conrad answered yes, he did. Yuuri compliments him saying he became really good.
Then Yuuri seems doubtful, is this the real ceremony? For some reason it seems as if it's fake to him.
There seems to be more to come, now we see Conrad and Yuuri walking.
Yuuri asks how long this celebration will last, Conrad answers that the only thing left is for Yuuri to make the oath at Shinou's temple.
Yuuri seems relieved. He asks him why he has to make the oath there, Conrad says that's because in this way even if Shinou is not with them anymore he will be able to hear Yuuri make his oath.
They are walking while they hear the maid talking, they are talking about the aristocrats meeting, and they continue saying that during that meeting a new Maou was decided.
Conrad looks at Yuuri worried.
They continue to listen and the maids say that it was decided to have Wolfram as Maou, it seem that this was decided after Yuuri left (ep 78) because they weren't sure if and when the passage between Earth and Shin Makoku would open again.
But then Yuuri came back, one maid said, that's why things became a little hard for everyone.
Conrad and Yuuri left, and we see them talking.
Conrad admits it's the truth, when he went back to earth, the aristocrats had a meeting to decide who would become the new Maou.
*flashback*
Some of the aristocrats are named fully here. We start from Gwendal, then Gunter, Stoffel, Anissina's older brother's name is Von Kabernikofff Denshado (I hope it's this the right name), Von Wincott's representative is Julia's younger brother Conrad doesn't say his name, he doesn't say the names of the others apart from Wolfram's uncle, his name is Waltorana.
Stoffel suggested to have Cheri back again as Maou (obviously because he wanted to become the Maou in her place) but Gunter said she wasn't interested.
We see Cheri smiling and saying she wants to go looking for love^^
Gunter names another possible Maou, Anissina (and Gwendal makes an interesting face because he imagine how scary Anissina could be if she becomes the Maou)
Wolfram's uncle says he thinks Wolfram would be a good choice, he asks what the others think...
Change of scene
Waltorana is walking and we hear Wolfram calling him and asking him to explain to him, he wants to know what is this thing about him becoming the Maou.
Seems that there is nothing to discuss , Waltorana says "accept and start the preparations"
Wolfram would like to say that the Maou is still Yuuri but Waltorana's face is enough to make him stop talking.
- His Majesty Yuuri came back to his world, he is not here anymore- Waltorana says.
He adds he didn't think a person born in another world could become a good king to begin with.
Everything is decided - he continues -there is no one as good as you for this role.-
Conrad continues his narration, Gwendal and Gunter thought about it a lot and then decided it was the best choice.
They didn't announce it yet.
Yuuri is thinking that all of this happened when he went back. Conrad reassures him it was done when they thought he would never come back, but he is back so...
Form Yuuri's expression we understand that he doesn't want for him finish his words, but Conrad does it saying that since he is back there is no need for a new Maou.
Yuuri continues, it's something that everyone decided and starts to get doubtful.
Conrad says that everyone's wish is to have Yuuri as Maou, but if Yuuri doesn't want to be a Maou anymore...he was born in another world, he never thought about becoming Maou in the first place.
Yuuri wanted in fact to become a pro baseball player.
Conrad says that if he wants, he can now renounce to his heritage as Mazoku and become free. If he wants this Conrad says (translated literally)- I shall carry you away barefoot if you wish...-
Yuuri laughs but Conrad is very serious.
Yuuri asks to think about it a little before deciding.
"Yes, Your Majesty" says Conrad.
"Don't call me Your Majesty, godfather!"
“Yes, Yuuri!”
Break
Everyone is going to Shinou's temple.
While Yuuri is smiling and waving to people he is thinking, “If Wolfram became the Maou, it would not be something surprising, he is the previous Maou's son after all.”
He was a selfish brat at the beginning, but lately he became really cool (otokomae), he is probably a better Maou than him.
Wolfram brings Yuuri back to present, telling him to not forget these people were all waiting for him. He is their country's Maou.
At the temple, Ulrike tells them to wait a little bit more.
Gwendal and Wolfram are preparing things, Conrad explains. Then Yuuri asks to be left alone for a little.
Everyone but Yuuri leaves, even Jozak since there is no danger in the temple.
Yuuri reflects.
Coming out from the room he sees a shadow running away and follows it.
He knows it's Shinou and Shinou actually appears.
Conrad knocks on the door and finds the room empty.
Yuuri asks Shinou why he is here Shinou says he wanted to enjoy this peace a little more.
Shinou continues, he sees that Yuuri is doubting, seems he doesn't want to become Maou anymore. It's true Shinou says, when he won over Soushu, the reason why he was chosen as Maou was completed, so there was no need to let him continue to be the Maou. But he was strong and if anyone has something agains his decision to have Yuuri as Maou they will pay.
Yuuri says no, it's not like that, he doensn't want thatthe reason is unsure now is because he doesn't believe in himself, he is just a student, but he wants to do something for all of them, he cares for all of them.
Shinou tells him to say this not to him but to the others. He leaves.
Conrad finds Yuuri and they go.
Everyone is waiting for him, Wolfram starts with his "you're late Yuuri what did you..." but he might have seen Yuuri's determination because he smiles in a satisfied way, and so does Murata.
Yuuri enters the room, all the aristocrats are there with Ulrike.
Yuuri's speech is the ritual speech. He promises to work hard for Shin Makoku and makes his oath.
Shinou asks Murata why he is still there. Murata comments that it was Shinou's talk with Yuuri that made him decide, right?
Shinou is satisfied, Yuuri chose for the best, well after all he is the Maou Shinou chose so he couldn't expect less.
Murata says “Welcome Back” to Shinou in an adorable way. *_*
While celebrations are still continuing happily, Gisela gives Dorkas some time off. ^_^
Gunter and Gwendal seem very satisfied with the outcome, also the aristocrats seemed to agree this time...with one exception, Waltorana.
He won't be calm about it, Gwendal is sure of it.
Everyone is at the party happily celebrating. Yuuri goes to apologize to Anissina because she was also on the list to become a Maou, but Anissina said she didn't really want that, she can accomplish what she wants even without being the Maou.
Conrad is happy too even if he says he was serious also about the fact he would have helped Yuuri even if he decided to not become Maou.
Then Yuuri asks about Wolfram, Conrad too says he didn't see him around.
We see a letter in a room.
"I'm very glad of the "coming of age" of his Majesty Yuuri
Then I want to please ask forgiveness, because deciding by myself, I'm breaking my engagement with His Majesty Yuuri and I0m going back to my territory."
We see Wolfram leaving with his men.
