No, I will not post that comment thing just because everyone around here is, call this a lazy meme-hating attempt at being a nonconformist. Besides, what's the point if the huge numbers you look at are only going to make you think "Well, I should comment more, but I won't," anyway? See, waste of time and space, I thought so too ( Read more... )

I think this is the first time I'm the first to comment, so I'm going to use the space wisely. I've been following the US presidential elections pretty devotedly, even though like yourself, I'm not a US citizen. Elections frighten me. There's the whole thing with the crazy elections in Taiwan, and the dispute over the electorial proceedings in Hong Kong right now. Not to mention elections are going on in many other countries, though more peacefully and justly.

License plate games. I remember those well. *laughs*

Elections frighten you when they fascinate me because it's the only opportunity for change. Still somewhat frightening for people who are coerced and persuaded, threatened to be so, in foreign lands, but that's hard to imagine when you live in a democracy, isn't it?

May have been some rock, scissors, paper in there too, I'm not telling.

Change is so relative. There are so many types of changes, and for some reason I fear most of them. I have to admit that yes, taking a leap can be extremely beneficial at times, but others I just shrink away (although you did fear eating that octopus.) Yes, it's hard to imagine when you live in a peaceful democracy like France, but I understand that it happens in many places of this world. The prospect is a little daunting.

What about Twenty Questions?

Someone who won't conform. I love it. I, of course, am the huge hypocrite who hates conforming...but posted it anyway.

I'm still tempted to post it, I'll probably download it just to see, curiosity killed the cat. Did your results surprise you? It's good seeing you in my comments.

The trees glisten more, the sidewalk seems to turn a darker shade and the custodian forgets to put up the caution: slippery sign.

Thank you.

I saw that you mark your calenders. You have a lot of red letter days.

The red letters are for all of the days when something important happened, it's like keeping a record. Marked over almost every day.
