Round 1 is officially over.

I can't believe that six months have flown by so quickly. That's crazy! I'd like to thank all of you who have participated -- you've created some truly beautiful works. I'm so, so happy with how everything turned out. I never thought that there would be so many awesome submissions!

I had so much fun - it was a ball, even though I think I haven't fully recovered.

My only suggestion for next time (because I want to participate and am already throwing ideas around with prettybird) would be to make sure there's plenty of time that doesn't overlap with school time. It's so hard because the schedule is so weird, but omg I want to play and I don't have much time right now, so imagining trying to write while the semester is in full swing kind of makes me feel ill. :)) Would it be another 6 month kind of deal?

Big Bangs are usually 5-6 months, so that's why this one was planned with the majority of it happening during the summer. However, in the hiatus challenges, there will probably be a much smaller word count requirement, like 2,500 or 5,000 instead of 15,000, lasting about a month or so.

I really had fun with this, and it's made me sit down and write which is really something I don't do enough of. I'm terrible at commenting but I've really enjoyed reading everyone else's fic too, there've been some amazing things and it's good timing because I'm getting really impatient for season 3 now so the fic are tiding me over until it starts.

Thank you so much for organising everything and being udnerstanding, you've done a great job!
