*Is mocking, making fun of, and belittling your entry* Alright, now that I've gotten all the important stuff out of the way, time to be serious. This discussion of the afterlife you brought up. Its absolutely amazing how you tied in The Return of the King. First comparing it to marriage, now using it to explain a view of the afterlife. All I can say is I'm impressed.
I personally share the common Catholic viewpoint of the issue of there being Heaven, Purgatory, and Hell. How well you perform on this Earth determines where you will go. I believe that once you are free of your body, that which is described by Gandalf is what happens, and you gain so many new senses. However, if you are truly evil, I don't believe you get to see the grey curtain lifted. Do people deserve it? I know I could never send someone to Hell if it were my decision. That's for sure. Well, maybe more later, but I must be running.
