Chris I just wanted to comment on you're description of LOTR:FOTR. I can understand why you think it's boring and predictable. However, did you ever stop to consider the parallel between LOTR and WWII?? Just wondering since this is want the books are based off of. Now, as for your descriptions of the characters you need to rethink things a bit. Sending Hobbits into Mordor to destroy the One Ring makes complete sence. First off, Frodo is the only one not affected by it, secondly they are small enough not to be noticed. The Elves do help in their ways, but they don't want to get involved, they got burned in the last war when they helped everyone and then no one helped them in return. Gandalf has other powers you need to watch the other two movies not that they are out before making a final decission here. Galadriel's gift to Aragorn wasn't completely useless my friend, what blade saved his butt at the Argornath? You can't use a two handed broad swoard for close combat, you've got to have a shorter blade for that. Perhaps you should
