a love poem, no sorry, THE love poem

Fellow writers (and of course all non-writers too)!

I'm not sure if I told you this but I'm taking a Creative Writing class in English. I'm super stoked.
But apparentlythe class is 50/50 poetry and fiction. And I don't really do poetry. At all.
I just don't get it. I'm waaay to superficial and happy to get it. Dark and broody, not my style. Ha! Yeah

i wouldn't change a thing, but i would make the grammatical change of "I'm a extra cherry on a sundae" to "I'm an extra cherry on a sundae".

i'm just a wee bit to excited i actually wrote a love poem.
i was telling a friend this att facebook and misspelled the swedish word for "love" three times. in diffrent wall posts. correctingt he post before... :)

That is awesome.

I'm not a huge poetry person, but the poets I actually enjoy reading are Walt Whitman and Edna St Vincent Millay if you want to do some exploration.
