Yeah, I'd say get out of there. Charleston, IL had the same effect on me. Then I moved away from there. Sure, it's been a hard transition, but it's been a good choice overall.

Yeah, leaving a big investment like a house and a plush job is hard to get out of, but if anything else, you'll have some fond memories to work off of.
