Doug and I rescued a kitten from my apartment complex parking lot. I spotted it facing down a car, arched back in the headlights. I was really worried that it was going to get squished by a car. How did you catch it? About the only time ferals let humans get close is if they're pregnant and looking for a place to drop a litter. Maybe it was recently abandoned? About how old is it? I housed 4-week old feral kittens several years ago, and if their mom hadn't been abandoned a year before and accepted (maybe even welcomed) human interference, they would have taken a lot longer to socialize.

I think he/she's 6-8 weeks. And this kitten didn't really welcome our catching him, but he/she was hungry and dumbly crossing in front of traffic.

We used treats, food, and a box to get him/her.

I think I spotted mom about 2 months ago acting weird. I haven't seen her since.
