Out of the Nest
today was Znerkie's first day at a class with NO parent participation. Our little boy is growing up! As first-time classes go, you couldn't really ask for an easier transition as we already go to the same classroom with the same teacher for another, very similar, class. Bushfires
Prayers to uncle & aunt and others who are facing the fires in Boollara. So far, the house is okay but they have lost their shed. -

Christmas
Phew, the holiday season is coming to an end. This is supposed to be Marathon Man's first day back at work but it is another SNOW DAY! Much of this winter has been punctuated by snow days, days where it was too iffy for our car (with no snow tyres on) so Znerkie & I were effectively snowed in and missed many appointments ( Read more... ) -

October was a mild month and we arranged to do a tractor pulled hay ride out to the pumpkin patch with a bunch of the kidlets. Yawning Acres farm put on a display of spoooooooky carved pumpkins, ghosties and ghoulies and witches galore along the trail with hot chocolate and hot dogs by the river.
