Hot Bod Third Try

Sep 18, 2014 12:22

Okay I REALLY suck at keeping an updated blog when I'm writing. Yeah all the words are going to a story! Boo, anybody knowing what's going on right now. :p Hopefully the summary helped catch everyone up. This post is pretty much dealing with my diabetes, because I'm on a new regimen and I need to make notes of what's happening. ( Curses ahoy, don't read this one out loud. )

exercise, health, experiment, diet, hot bod, 2014 goals

Do you like tea? Black teas like Earl Grey and Chai have more caffeine in them than green tea. that might help with the caffeine withdrawal. Plus it has healthy phytochemicals. Tho green tea has more4 than black tea. So it's a toss up. :)

I love tea. I own lots of all kinds of flavors: green, black, herbal. The problem is when I brew my own, I make syrup. I have had this confirmed over the years by many people. Fixed a glass of iced tea for my uncle working on my house back in 2000. He called what was in his glass syrup. Years later, my boyfriend of then said my peppermint tea was too sweet to drink. Just a couple of weekends ago, I bought Pure Leaf's extra sweet tea because I was staying overnight at a friend's house. She tried some after I said it was okay but not as sweet as mine. She gagged on how sweet it was and said "There's 28 grams of sugar in this!" I think the bottle was sized between 16 to 20 oz.

*Snort* It's better to be addicted to sugar than alcohol or cigarettes I guess. But it's also better to limit my intake to emergencies.

I use tea bags rather than loose leaf, with some honey in it. That should limit how much sugar you get.
