In my days since Vestavia and the work I did in the local churches during college, I have come to realize several things. One of them is that I appreciate not working in the local church. You're right. I do like that song, but only because I can't believe it. And I like the part where the kids are singing. I made Matt listen to it on the way back from Camp Saturday night. He hated me for it. I think it's similar to why I like that Toby Keith song, the one about the boot in the rear - for the bells.

I forgot I liked Breath of Heaven. Thanks. Downloading stat. Did you know Jessica Simpson has a version. Yikes!

I truly cannot stand the Christmas Shoes song. It makes me want to hit the stereo with a baseball bat.

sufjan's album is pretty much my favorite christmas album ever now. :) i even listened to it after christmas was over. i love his 'o come, o come, emmanuel' and 'come thou fount.' great stuff...

The Christmas Shoes song is the reason I'm NOT listening to Christmas music on the radio this year. And while I'm being Grinch-like, Jessica Simpson's Christmas album should never have happened.
