What happens when politicians can't think beyond the next election??? Or in this case, still celebrating themselves, performing well in the last one...

The following was taken from RTÉ:
"The Taoiseach has told the Dáil that the Government is considering the implementation of a transition period governing the payment of water charges by schools.

well said, It seems funny to me that on this island, with all the rain, that we have to pay for water. It's just that the Irish have taken it for granted, all this wet from the sky and so don't know how to conserve. I had a friend who ran her whole house on rain tanks for years.
