Hang on you have a laptop dont Ja Have a look round the back and check yer holes Is there a audio socket at the back of the CDRW? You might have to hook up a separate audio cable to you laptop to play cd audio I think I have one if you do need it, mini jack to mini jack. Hope you are feeling better XxX
I had a look for CD RWs whilst out shopping a few days ago. What I didn't understand is that they cost the same as DVD RWs at around 60 euros... Thought I'd get one cheap as no-one else I know is still using a standard CD burner...

Will try all of those suggestions (well, as many as I need to before something works satisfactorily)
Downloading MP 9.0 at the moment ...and probably for rest of the evening (ancient machine is creaking and grinding with effort)
