Most people I knew (including myself) used to use an electric shaver to remove unsightly stuble on the head. It has the advantage that it doesn't take away any long hair and doesn't slice the skin to bits. Without it mowhawks generaly get thinner and thinner which isn't exactly in the interest of the individual in question. This is also a common reason for female gawfs possessing an electric shaver here in DE, which comes in handy if your'e a tart like me (or used to be) and you end up staying the night. Facial hair is 'orrible and must be removed in the morning.
Happily agree with 'orribleness of bois with stubbly facial hair, urgh, ouch!! Electric shaver just can't compare with lovely shiny smoothness of wet-shaved head though (mmmm, ritual of bic razor on head.....sigh!)
Besides, I have bristly horsey-hair and even small amount of stubble is sandpaper-rough!
Been shaving the bonce this way for many a year now....get lost with yer modern technology....give me a sharp shiny blade any day!
U use the electric shaver first then do the wet razor ritual. (The long hairs have to survive which is difficult at the back of the head) I find BIC razors (think you mean the throw away ones with ten or more in a packet) to be quite expensive and also unpleasnat in the long run. I use a cheap razor from wilkinson with a double blade. It is quite old fashioned, heavy (made of metal) but lasts far/ far longer than a packet of BICs. The refill blades don#t cost much and can cope with porcupine spines (my facial hair kills Bic razors so they don't last more than one or at most two uses.
If at some point I need new blades, I may send you one. I think I have a spare one for Cannis bathroom that I don't need anymore... You will find it great. Anyway, it's a great feeling having something big in yer hand (oooer)
Yeah a big hooray to all who (unlike me) actually know their way around a PC!!!!!Whilst I stop short, of being the sort of person, that gets a box of tissues if the computer has a virus, I realy am a beginner. But due to my stubborn nature I don't give up easy....
