Mm, a bathing suit. All I can think of (besides going as fire/the sun) is the eroding graveyards in the Chesapeake Bay.

All white cotton (nice and breathable, perfect for the heat) with dirt and soot on it to represent pollutants in the air or something. Thats a harsh theme is you can't look cute either. Anyways, that was all I could come up with after much contemplation.
