Running with a companion seems to be a good thing for me. Or maybe I'm just in better shape than the last time I ran this route, but I don't think that's the case since I haven't run for a week. In any case, I was definitely running much more comfortably/loosely/fast(ly?). I think having someone next to me makes me pay more attention to pacing ( Read more... )

Specifically, internet ambivalence. I like being able to talk to my friends from, well, across the great expanse of the northeastern united states in a totally emotionally isolated and safe manner, and I like being able to read the rantings and musings of all stripes of interesting and brilliant people. I'm really amazed at how melodramatic that last entry was. That is all.

So I feel a little overwhelmed right now, and a little irrational. Room draw happened tonight, and, coupled with the lingering frenzy surrounding being in a pick group that I don't know that well and the insanity of the cluster draw, it kind of drove me over the edge (I think?)
