Fic: happy days are here again

It's been forever since I've written anything, and I apologize for that. College is tough, man.

I just got home from college for Thanksgiving break, and it gave me a lot of ~feelings~. Mostly about Klaine, as usual. So I wrote this.

Why do I hear Burt's muffled voice from the phone on the floor, saying, "Uh, Kurt? You still there? Did Blaine find you okay at the airport?"

Seriously though, very cute story. It made me smile.

I have it in my head that Burt knew about it all along, and knew exactly how Kurt would react, so when Kurt dropped the phone he just chuckled and hung up.

*GRIN* Yes, that was my option number two. Either way, I love that he was cool with Blaine going in his place, especially when it sounded like Burt had been missing Kurt, too. Very very sweet.

And I love the way Kurt launched himself at his boyfriend. That's always a nice visual. ;)

So, it didn't slip? Because throughout the rest of the scene, all I could think was, "OMG, is Burt listening to all this?!" #^_^#

Our boys are adorable and this story makes them justice. Lovely!

Oh man, I didn't even notice that. No, I guess it didn't fit with the story, but Kurt definitely dropped his phone when he threw his arms around Blaine.

That would have been INCREDIBLY awkward if Burt had been listening to the whole thing.

Note to self, don't read homecoming fics when you are living in a foreign country and won't be home for another 7 months. But never the less, this was beautiful and I really want to read more!
