It is indeed worth eight bucks. Listen to no one else but me and get off your butt and in the Theater and see TROY

about 20 of us skipped school on friday to go see it at 11:30, and i must say that i almost nutted my pants during that movie (especially when brad pitt got nekkid).
i disagreed with the critics on this one.

Learn what a good movie is. Troy blew. It was so cheezy, not historically correct, and unnecessarily lovey-dovey. And Brad Pitt's cousin was totally a fag. Brad and Eric carried this movie (as did that guy who played Aggy), but it just wasn't enough to cover the shitty writing.

Only cool parts: Brad naked. Flaming balls of fire on fire. That guy getting smacked with a torch. The first fight.
All of these moments add together for about 10 whole minutes of cool stuff in a 2 hour movie.

First of all man i dont think they were aiming for historical correctness, Why does it matter how Achilles cousin was, he was barely in it, hes a certain character that is there to drive certain parts of the story, shitty writing, no sir, every line was good, Some parts involving legolas were cheesy. Flaming balls of fire, thats what makes a movie good for you. you're argument has been stricken from the record. And finally, FTC blows a hard one. I trust you no longer

When you say "Every line was good" I instantly know that you're misguided. The writing was mediocre at best. The whole second love story was gay and annoying. Cousin-fag was also very annoying. VERY ANNOYING. And come on, you can't say those balls of fire weren't badass. You can, but you'd be lying.
