The quite silly thing is that there are a LOT of people who can sing out there much better than famous singers.. but.. if they don´t "look the part" then they end up falling by the wayside or not even trying. Listening to most modern singers live, you wouldn´t believe how they sound. Out of tune, flat etc. It´s often all because they're so used to the studio magic (EQ, Compression, Gates, Tone correction etc
