well it really really depends on what theological definition of "God" you are talking about. in the christian/catholic sense, god is capable of doing bad or evil, however it is not evil per se because his ultimate goal is supposedly good. everything he does goes along with his divine master plan, what is bad is actually a part of his divine puzzle.

a sort of machiavellian/end justifies the means deal.

ps - god doesn't exist. (haha)

what if god was someone's belief in what perfectioin really is, so they strive for it. the only thing universal about god is that he is there. just thinking about that something like him, such an idea so powerful has lasted so long is really remarkable in itself (or shoud i say, himself) wild...

but maybe if you think about it, to other people to other backgrounds god can be both good and evil, right? that just makes me think what is perfect anymore? etc etc etc
