[...Doggy senses are tingling. Or, well, his stinkbug suddenly flies off his shoulder in terror and so he suspects that something has scared it, which would be anything larger than a small amoeba. Lucas stands up from his (dying) garden and takes a glance around.]

[Lyn huffs at this, which is rather cuter as a dog than when he does it as a human. Still, his tail wags a bit; he's happy to see Lucas is doing okay, and even though he might deny it, the head-rubs are kind of nice.

Well, having been a dog for Lucas, he's not sure if he's meant to stay as one or not for the boy's sake - and if so, for how long. So he gives Lucas an inquiring tilt of his head, ears cocked.]

[Lucas beams brightly as more head-rubs ensue, though he will eventually stop. ...After satisfying himself with a some petting, too.]

[He pulls up beside Lyn in his beloved Bentley, sunglasses firmly in place on his face. He looks more like himself, despite the scratchy 50's suit.]

[Lyn pauses at Crowley's greeting, sizing up the fancy car with measuring eyes. The measurements must be pretty favorable, since he looks genuinely impressed.]

Shit, nice ride. [Then he smirks.] Definitely an upgrade from the skateboard.

[He grins with the pride of ownership. He loves his Bentley like an old friend. Crowley pats the dash fondly.]

Nothing can compare to my car... Huh, speaking of that skateboard, I have no more use for it. Want it?

Sure. [The response is automatic, without even a pause for thought; Lyn takes anything he can get, regardless of want or need for it. Normally he doesn't use skateboards, preferring his own feet - and quite a lot of vertical movement, anyway. But he'll have just as much use for it as Crowley, right?]

I got my laptop. And shapeshifting - guess the town had some regain backlog to make up for or something.

I have no fucking idea, actually. All I know is that I got my computer back, and somebody said they were gonna set up a network with theirs a little while ago and I want in on that shit. Why, you got a computer yourself?

Also, isn't this like the third or fourth time you've been here? Although I don't think you remembered having been here before the last couple times.

Yeah. I mean, it's basically junk without the internet, although I guess I've at least got what I have on the thing already. I've got some movies and music and a few games, anyway, which is a hell of a lot more than I had. [Oh, that reminds him...] Fuck, did you know the guy next door to me has a giant-ass TV in his garage? He was playing Cloverfield on it earlier, says he's got a ton of movies. Between the two of us we've actually got some hints of motherfucking modern civilization around here.

It's sad that I don't even blink at this shit now. So are you a Dave I've talked to before?
