Excellent look at the Lee/Kara relationship and all its complications. And, of course, we know what's coming.

This was such an interesting fic, and I liked how you kept things similar but also different enough to keep us on our toes. Thanks for sharing!

This was great, I love how you kept it familiar enough but still very fresh and different. I loved the bit where Kara was uncomfortable and pissy with Lee sitting next to her and how she could hear him breath! And I'm going to pretend Kara not being in hack meant her destiny made sure she didn't die with the rest of the squadron.

Yay thank you! I'm glad you liked the little briefing scene, as I'm fond of that one myself. As for Kara's fate, well, I'm leaving that up to you.

Thank you! If I recall correctly, the end was the first part I wrote, so I'm really glad you liked it.

I know this is going to sound crazy, Shah, but part of me thinks this is a better end for Kara than canon. *heavy sigh* I certainly cannot imagine the grief that Lee and Bill would feel, but there's something rather... freeing... for lack of a better word, of her just dying out there in the first wave. It gets rid of so much of the extraneous guilt and the unnecessary pain that she and Lee put themselves through.

*taps fingers*

Yes. I actually really love this. I could totally see this working for me as a premise. It isn't happy or easy, but I rather love the beautiful simplicity of it all.

Totally aside: My lord woman, your language. GAH! I'm in awe again. *INSERT SWOONING HERE* Truly spectacular. You amaze me! *hugs* K :>D
