The joys of moving-yeah right!!!12thsymbolJune 26 2005, 12:44:35 UTC
Yes, I have lots of experience with the stresses of moving. Once I made the big move, after high school to Ohio, it seemed I was moving someplace new every six months and boy was I tired of the instability. Fortunately, I am the kind of person that loaths "stuff". For a while I wouldn't even buy furniture for fear that I would have to haul it around from place to place. I would just get the essentials and then throw them away when it was time to pack up and go. I could fit everything I owned in my '89 Camry and at the time that was very satisfying. Now that I'm older everything has changed except the fact that I love to throw things away. It is therapeudic for me to get a big trash bag and just start dumping things I've held on to for the sake of cool or memories. And, if your guy is cleaning at all just be thankful he's not the type to leave his dirty laundry around for you to pick up. If I were you I would take fuuuull advantage of the situation before it dissapears

rob has promised to learn to make space for me despite all of his new cleaning habitsi'm not really sure what to think. is it the same boy?
I will agree with you on that one! Most people can be messy until they hit adulthood and realize that being tidy is good. Perhaps he's hit that point. I hope he still acts like a goofy kid sometimes though because that means side splitting laughter. I still giggle about his dancing in the living room. Silly.

woop woop! and have no fear of rob ever losing his little kid-ness. he drove up here to get a truck load of my stuff a few days ago. after i got off work, he wanted to go get some ice cream. as we were walking up to the store, he did one of those infamous epileptic jigs much to the delight of the big group of young guys sitting in front of the store. they asked him for a repeat performance when we got close enough to chat but he informed them that they should've taken pics cause it was a one time thing. total goof. total goof. and hi5 on the new-to-you ride! it's shiny! that's an improvement. even though you're alllll the way across the country, you should come visit in athens. i think you'd dig it. lots of vintage shops. later berly! hart, k*
