 So I just called to reschedule an annual appt with my Ob-gyn.  They told me I'd have to schedule with another doctor, because Dr. Bryant was not working there anymore.  Apparently, he passed away in mid-November

The thought had crossed my mind that perhaps it was a bad parting and the receptionist was pissed off, but today I heard otherwise. They sent a form letter saying that he had passed away and the other two obstetricians were taking on his patients. It didn't say how or why, but that he had "sadly passed on".

It's sad, but I guess he had done what he needed to do here and is moving on to higher realms.
