very strange positioning of Ukraine, imho. I heard that Bukovel and Slavske, couple of skiing resorts of high class, are more expensive than Austrian skiing resorts. Well, anyway maybe it {poster} works, who knows?

well, so far, the common perception of Ukrainian Carpathians in CR is as of "virgin nature"- no crowds of tourists, no hot dogs and no proper services. Czech extreme lovers go there, that's why my initial idea was Ukraine. for survivors...Services in CR are much better than in Ukraine, but services in Austria or Italy are far better, than in CR, that's why many Czechs go there for skiing(well, mounitains are higher there, that's also the factor :).

So, if Ukrainian govenment wants to attract tourists to Carpathians, they should choose another strategy, I think. Not to inform the world that there are mountains in Ukraine, but to cry out lound that we have high class services for general public (not for couple of VIPs). The services must be first improved or created though...
