Well. The school year is over. I got my last evaluation last night, and I passed all of my classes with flying colors and very complimentary professor comments. I'm really proud of myself. I distinguished myself in every class I took this year. I'm a little apprehensive about doing it again next year, since I set the bar pretty high for myself, but

Thanks Gail! Are you okay in Paris? I read in the paper that there were some riots in the suburbs! Some mayor tried to place a curfew at night and the teenagers rioted in the streets. I've been a little worried for you! Not that you and your mom couldn't handle yourselves, but it just wouldn't fair to the teenagers, they wouldn't know who they were messing with!

haha, yeah they would be messing with the wrong people, that's for sure!
nah, we've been ok. don't worry, rioting (and striking, by the way - there's a transportation workers strike planned for the weekend we leave europe if i read the signs right) are all part of parisian culture. crazy french. :)
